The BSS Day 2 Kit comprises task trainers and consumables designed for completing the second day of the official Basic Surgical Skills Course. Developed collaboratively with leading medical professionals, the kit features a realistic 3 layered skin pad representing the abdominal wall anatomy including skin & adipose tissue, linea alba, and peritoneum. Components enable practice in abdominal procedures, abscess drainage, wound debridement, and tissue handling. The kit can be replenished using the separate Day 2 Refill pack.

- BSS Abscess trainer (pus-filled for drainage practice); BSS Traumatic Wound (multi-layered soft tissue with foreign bodies)
- AOCT Frame and BSS Professional AOCT Pad; drain, artery (8mm x 140mm), and graft patch (8mm x 76mm)
- Latex-free construction; components cleanable with soap and water
- Storage note: Abscess and traumatic wound components require refrigeration prior to use
- Abdominal closure and drain insertion; excision of skin lesions; fine needle aspiration cytology
- Tissue handling (vein patch, tendon repair); wound debridement and abscess drainage
