The trainer enables both diagnostic and therapeutic abdominal procedures using palpation or ultrasound-guided techniques in lower quadrants while safely avoiding vital organs. Echolucent pads and Echogenic organs inside the trainer allow trainees to visualize internal anatomy under ultrasound before performing needle or catheter insertion into the peritoneal cavity.
