The GI Mentor is a virtual reality (VR) simulator from the Surgical Science Mentor family, recognized as the gold standard for training upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy. The platform offers an extensive library of modules with more than 120 tasks and virtual patient cases, ranging from fundamental skills and diagnostic procedures to advanced ERCP, EUS and ESD interventions. It is the most evidence-based endoscopy simulator available, validated by over 60 studies with established predictive value. GI Mentor is also the exclusive simulator for SAGES FES testing, required by the ABS for all general surgery residency graduates in North America.
